epic fail

i have this knack of failing to meet expectations.especially my own.this post is not complicated.its not motivational either.i have to say that first.i'm disappointed in myself.i keep failing at things that i want.maybe i dont want them enough.the failures add up and become some huge monster in my head that feeds on my confidence.*YUM*then the monster goes ahead and excretes some weird nightmares that haunt me constantly.

recently the failures get more and more painful.is that a good thing or a bad thing?i cant tell.but one thing's for sure.i know that i need to change or i'll never be the guy i wanna be.

END.

Stop questioning yourself.

We define ourselves not through what we do and are but what we choose.Though you can say the choices you make bring you where you are,I'd like to insert a quote here from JFK"Let us not seek to fix blame for the mistakes of the past, let us accept responsibility for the future.".So don't look at your past choices, everyone does wrong sometimes.

Everyone knows there's a time to change, and there's always time to change. There's always time.Don't say there isn't.If there isn't,it's only because you keep procrastinating.I'd like to say here that people see you only as who you choose to be,whether to the world or just to those people. It's like a photograph. The pose is all they see.Even if it's phony.Choose your pose,or choose to be yourself.I think you can choose to be yourself.

So smile,I know that you can pull through.Don't think about whether you're good enough, whether others respect you or give you too little, less than you're worth.Don't think about whether you'll be rejected for being yourself, stop thinking about YOURSELF for a moment, and focus on your decisions.Stop saying that you're alone. You're not.The only reason why everyone thinks they're alone is because everyone says together,"I'm all alone.".All it takes is one person, one person who says:"I''m with the world.".Be that person.I know you can.SAY what you WANT TO to the world.I'm listening.Everyone is listening.

This guy and his son captivated me for the first 6 years of my life.
The first instalment of the lion king movies that would enthrall children all over the world
later on,and the original,THE original and irreplaceable LION KING movie.
It wasn't really clear to me,though, how big an effect the father-son relationship
had on the progress of the movie's plot, not until 8 years after i stopped playing it everyday
on the video tape machine, player, whatever you wanna call it.You can even call it that-squeaky-squeaky-thing-that-plays-movies-so-old-they're-in-the-museum.I'd agree.
FATHERS influence their kids in many ways, even if they aren't there.
Not by making their kids see ghosts everywhere that are actually your reflection...that doesn't work for girls lol..
Not by reminding them of their presence by giving them an unfinishable task that is monotonous, tedious not to mention AMAZINGLY impossible(unfinishable ma what do you expect?) that they execute daily while hoping for their fathers to come back*u can see this in too many anime lol*.
Fathers act as ROLE MODELS for kids.
Simba's seeing his father's face everywhere actually signifies his father's existence as a role model to him.
Some people, seeing their father's face and actions everywhere, know that it's exactly the opposite.
They don't want to turn out like their dads.
But the more they work to NOT turn out like their dads, the more they DO turn out like their dads.
Hence the need for a role model.
If you don't want to turn out like your parents, you'd better find a role model fast.
If I don't wanna turn out like my dad,I'd better find a role model fast.

Blog is clean. No more emo posts, except the one below cuz I like it.=)

Sze Geet says:When the whole world says you're wrong, you ARE wrong.
Which literally translates to:When everyone doubts you, you're wrong.I don't think so.
The truth is,most of the time, when you stop doubting yourself at all,you know that you're undoubtedly wrong,or going to go wrong.
I know I'm wrong.

Miss Ong says:You never think you're wrong. How can you stand there and read sejarah?
Which literally translates to:You think you're special and you don't think normal rules apply to you.Don't read sejarah before I scold you.
The truth is,I don't get what you mean by normal rules.Just because I know I'm wrong and I feel sorry it doesn't mean I have to waste my time standing around doing nothing, right?Do I have to punish myself by wasting my own time, too, before you punish me?Feels kind of useless.Punishment is a method that ineffective teachers use to make students remember a lesson.By pain. The lesson is imprinted on the mind of the student using mental or physical scars, and when the scars fade,so do the memories. At least you don't use that method.I respect you for that. But the inexorable truth remains-there is nothing wrong with NOT wasting your own time.So don't scold me for that. The reason I didn't go out earlier is because I really didn't know what to say.In the staffroom, the reason "It's done, but it's lost."sounded like something inexcusable, even to me.Inexcusable, after what you said yesterday.Because yesterday I learnt how much you care for your students.I had to force the words out of my mouth today.

Louise says:You're irresponsible.
*The above sentence was edited. She didn't exactly say that. The original,it's actually a bit longer. And not as sharp as the above sentence may seem.*
Which literally translates to:I don't take care of things and duties well.
The truth is,it IS true.I'm not really responsible. But I will try.I will change.

So I know I'm wrong, and if I follow Miss Ong's statement,I'm just going to stand there moping until the people I have wronged have time for me to apologize,THEN I go and apologize to them.Half a lifetime gone wei. It's not productive, waiting silently.Worse, the guilt will kill me before I even get to apologize to these people.

So,does reading history textbooks before going out to apologize really, really render the apology insincere? Please don't say so.

When I'm down,
and my skies are grey
You paint 'em blue.
Without realizing in itself
Blue is such a sad colour.
